Taylor Swift fans are buzzing with excitement as her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, seems to have leaked online ahead of its official release.

Many fans have shared tracks on social media, with some claiming they found a Google Drive link containing the full 17-song list. While some Swifties couldn't resist diving into the leaked tracks, others are holding out for the official release on Friday, arguing that true fans should wait.

The BBC has reached out to Swift's representatives for comment on the leak.

The singer unveiled details about her 11th studio album during February's Grammy Awards, marking her first collection of entirely new material since October 2022's Midnights. Speculations have arisen among fans, with some questioning if the leaked tracks could be AI-generated fakes. This suspicion stems from previous incidents where AI-created tracks circulated online, although they turned out to be older, lesser-known Swift songs.

Swift has had previous encounters with AI, notably when X blocked searches for her name due to explicit AI-generated images in January. The anticipation for her new album is high among her fanbase, especially with the upcoming blockbuster Eras tour in Europe this summer.

Despite the leak of Midnights before its official release, Swift's commercial success remained unscathed, with the album selling 1.6 million copies in its first week in the US and winning Album of the Year at the Grammys.

Earlier this month, Swift joined the ranks of the world's wealthiest people, entering Forbes' Billionaires List with a net worth of $1.1 billion (£877 million), alongside figures like Elon Musk and Sam Altman, creator of the AI chatbot ChatGPT, who also made the list with $1 billion (£800 million).

At The Sfag we can't obviously wait for Taylor new album, sure it will be a mega success and will make us dive deep again into our lives to discover even more of ourselves..

Dearly, Mike.
