The release date and times for Taylor Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, have been revealed worldwide.
The 11th studio album by the 34-year-old Style artist is set to drop on Friday, April 19th, with release timings varying depending on global locations.
This highly-anticipated album will showcase 17 new songs, marking Swift's next major release following Midnights in 2022.
The announcement of the album came earlier this year at the Grammy Awards, where she also shared the track listing, revealing collaborations with artists like Post Malone and Florence + the Machine.
The album is expected to delve into Swift's personal experiences, particularly her breakup with actor Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years. Swift hinted at the emotional depth of the album during her Eras Tour shows, expressing how crucial songwriting has been for her during challenging times.
At one of her performances, she shared, "It sort of reminded me of why songwriting is something that actually gets me through life, and I've never had an album where I've needed songwriting more than I needed it on Tortured Poets."
Leading up to the album's release, Swift also launched a pop-up library in Los Angeles, sponsored by Spotify, where eager fans lined up for hours to gain insights into the themes and inspirations behind The Tortured Poets Department.

Taylor Swift is renowned for her penchant for surprises, and she kept up the tradition by setting up a large bookshelf filled with clues about her latest work. This album marks a departure for Swift as she didn't release any singles ahead of its launch, intensifying fans' curiosity about what's in store.
The display was strategically placed across from the Cheesecake Factory at the Grove, a spot frequented by Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori, adding a touch of intrigue to the setting. Among the intriguing items on the shelf were a clock set at '2:00 PM,' reminiscent of her recent promo video, a tambourine, a notebook labeled 'US,' a fountain pen, and a perpetual calendar set to Friday, December 13.
One intriguing inclusion was a small statue of Diana of Ephesus, symbolizing childbirth and fertility, which fans interpreted as a subtle reference to her ex, British actor Joe. The tracklist reveal in February hinted at collaborations with Post Malone and Florence & The Machine, with a song titled 'So Long, London,' sparking speculations about Swift's breakup with Joe.
The bookshelf also featured an old-fashioned typewriter showcasing Swift's tracklist, along with books, puzzle pieces, and an hourglass, adding layers of mystery to the display.
Fans sported colorful beaded bracelets, a trademark of Swift fandom, as they delved into the clues.
Swift had previously teased the album's artwork on Instagram, featuring a black and white photo and song titles like 'Fortnight,' 'My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,' and 'The Manuscript.'
During her Grammy acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album for 'Midnights,' Swift revealed the album's release date, expressing gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support and enthusiasm. This album rollout has kept fans on their toes, eagerly anticipating Swift's next musical chapter.
